Duff Pearce trained at Cheltenham and Bournemouth colleges of art. While still at Bournemouth he was selected for the young Contemporaries at the ICA. He went on to show with Richard Demarco in Edinburgh. He has exhibited in the Royal West of England Academy Open Print Exhibition; the Millfield Open; Dorchester County Museum and various galleries around the South West of England.
In 2004 he won the RWA Purchase Prize and the same year was a prize-winner at Millfield. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show. Over the past 5 years he has regularly shown at the Atrium Gallery, Bournemouth University, varying between exhibiting small drawings, paintings and prints and large drawings based on the human figure. In January 2010 Duff was invited to show two large 3-D pictures at the Royal West of England Academy in a prestigious exhibition Celebrating Paper. He has work in private collections in Europe and the USA.
